For Antarès, drawing, manga, and Japanese culture have been an integral part of her life and passions since childhood. After graduating with her maturity certificate from the Gymnase de Renens in 2019 , she turned this calling into reality by earning a Bachelor’s degree in Illustration from the Canvas School in Lausanne. This academic background enabled her to master a wide range of traditional paper-based mediums while developing proficiency in digital design software such as Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, InDesign, and Illustrator.
Her technical skillset includes character design, concept design, comics and manga, and game design, alongside fundamentals in typography and image composition. Beyond pure technique, her journey is driven by a deep desire to share her passion for drawing and illustration.
Antarès has built solid, hands-on teaching experience. In 2021, she began working as a substitute teacher in primary schools across Vaud, notably teaching visual arts to students from the 3P to 8P levels at the Établissement de Renens-Est. She has also strengthened her educational practice through one-on-one tutoring and teaching regular hours since the start of the 2025 school year. This direct involvement in the school environment gives her a natural rapport with children and a proven ability to adapt to their individual needs.
Highly communicative and deeply empathetic, she excels at creating an atmosphere of trust and openness in her classes. To build an authentic connection with her students, she draws on shared interests like reading, board games, and video games. She is thoroughly familiar with these creative worlds, having regularly showcased and sold her own work as an exhibitor at pop culture festivals such as JapaNeuch, Arcana, Kiyofestival, and Retromania.
In her lessons, she puts her rigour and meticulous attention to detail at the service of her students , helping them build strong foundations while guiding them to bring their own imaginative stories to life.
