Lulled by the world of manga and Japanese pop culture since childhood, Yami Shin made her debut over 10 years ago in the amateur fanzine and webcomic scene. Winner of the Ki-oon manga springboard in 2015 and judge for the 2019/2020 Edition, she is currently working on her manga Green Mechanic published by Édition Ki-oon. In 2018, thanks to her efforts, her manga won a Japan Expo Awards "Daruma for Best International Manga" and now has a series of 7 volumes (series in progress), published under the artist name Yami Shin.
She has also taken part in various projects, including the Delémont Street Art exhibition in 2021 on the theme of kissing, alongside other artists such as Zep and Marini.
Aurélie continues to fanzine in her spare time, but is mainly working on her manga project, sharing her knowledge and passion on social networks, in schools and libraries for anyone interested in her world.
