Jérémie

Jérémie Marguerat was born on 6 March 1996 and spent his childhood between Lausanne and Morges. From an early age, he developed a passion for drawing and comics. Manga and comics soon enriched his collection, ranging from the epic to the fantastic and the horrific.

After completing a gymnasium course in visual arts, Jérémie combined his love of drawing with a growing interest in biology and observing nature. In 2019, he joined the Geneva School of Comics and Illustration (ESBDI). There, he combines his passion for nature and drawing, realising how essential it is to understand biology in order to represent both the real and imaginary worlds. His work ranges from pencil drawings to digital creations, fusing manga and Franco-Belgian comic strip styles.

Jérémie finds it both exciting and rewarding to guide and support young up-and-coming artists, seeing the process as an enriching adventure for all.
