Is insurance coverage provided?

Apolline has no insurance to cover participants in its programs. It is the responsibility of parents and families to ensure that their children are adequately covered in case of need.

What insurance do I need?

Parents must ensure that participants have accident insurance to cover medical expenses in the event of injury, as well as third-party liability insurance to cover any damage. This insurance is essential to ensure that appropriate care is taken in the event of an incident.

What happens in the event of a medical emergency?

In the event of an emergency, we immediately contact the parents and, if necessary, the emergency services. It is essential that parents provide us with relevant health information about their child before the start of the course, including any allergies or medical conditions that may require special attention.

If you have any further questions about your child's insurance and safety, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. For cancellations made up to one week before the start of the course, we offer a full refund. If cancellation is made less than a week before the start of the course, we will refund 50% of the total amount. Once the week has started, a refund is only possible in the event of illness, from the 3rd day of absence and on presentation of a medical certificate. This policy is designed to offer a degree of flexibility while respecting the organization of courses.

Yes, a performance prepared by the participants will be held on Friday of the same week, from 5:30 to 6 p.m., on site. Parents and family are warmly invited to attend this presentation to celebrate the work and progress of each young actor. It's a moment of sharing and pride for everyone.

Our program is designed to awaken and nurture each child's creativity. Through a variety of improv exercises, role-playing and character building, we allow each youngster to express themselves freely while learning to value their uniqueness. Personal exploration and the discovery of new forms of expression are at the heart of our teaching.

Yes, subject to availability. To ensure that all young participants are together, we recommend that registrations take place at the same time.

As long as they are registered for the same program and at the same times, and are of the right age to participate, we make sure to place them in the same group so that they can share this experience together. Both must be of the right age to participate. Don't hesitate to let us know your wishes when you register!

For these short one-week courses, there is no trial period. Each participant needs to live the full experience to fully discover the activities and get the most out of them. For refunds, see the question on our cancellation policy above.

Is the course open to adults or the whole family?

Our course is exclusively reserved for children aged 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14. We don't accept whole families, i.e. children with their parents. Siblings, on the other hand, are welcome and even benefit from a 10% sibling discount! The rest of the family is invited on Friday for the show ;)

If you're an adult and would like to learn musical theatre, we invite you to find out about the weekly courses available in your area, see our section below on this subject. These courses are tailored to adults, their level and their objectives.

We don't currently offer any programs for adults during school vacations. Please consult our weekly courses to see if a suitable offer is available in your area. Classes are held in Geneva.

Art and passion are at the heart of our pedagogical approach. We value scenic expression as an essential tool for children to explore various aspects of the performing arts, from singing and dancing to acting and interpretation. Our programs are designed to combine education and pleasure, offering young artists an enriching experience.

To nurture this passion, we emphasize an artistic freedom that allows each student to explore his or her potential within a structured framework. This framework helps each student acquire the technical skills he or she needs, according to their current level. This learning encourages their development and commitment throughout their school career.

Our workshops encourage the development of creativity, stage presence and self-confidence, while introducing young artists to fundamental notions such as rhythm, diction and synchronization. Working as a group reinforces cohesion and mutual support, essential values in both education and family life.

As well as techniques, our courses encourage group work and exchanges, enabling everyone to draw inspiration and progress in a caring atmosphere. More than just a leisure activity, our programs offer a unique learning opportunity, combining artistic training and personal development. We aim to create an environment that stimulates education and meets the expectations of families concerned about their children's well-being and academic progress.

School vacations are the perfect opportunity to discover new activities, have fun and learn in a fun and enriching environment. There are a multitude of possibilities to occupy the weeks off, from practicing a sport to exploring the world of art, from mountain adventures in a chalet to therapeutic and artistic workshops. Here's an overview of the most popular categories.

Sports

Sports activities are a great way to stay active during the vacations. Whether it's team sports like soccer and basketball, or more individual programs like climbing, tennis or swimming, there are plenty of options for those who like to get moving. Multi-sport camp weeks allow you to discover several disciplines and learn about a variety of sports in a dynamic and stimulating environment. Fun is always guaranteed with activities supervised by passionate professionals.

Arts

Vacations are the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of art. Art courses allow you to explore different mediums, from painting and sculpture to collage and photography. These programs offer exceptional creative freedom and the chance to discover new techniques. Workshops are designed to encourage self-expression and the pleasure of creating in a fun and inspiring atmosphere.

Winter

When winter comes, our mountain offerings are in high demand. Skiing and snowboarding camps let you enjoy the joys of the slopes while improving your technique. In an idyllic setting, you can stay in a chalet and enjoy snow-covered landscapes between two sessions on the slopes. Most camps include on-site accommodation, allowing you to enjoy your winter adventure to the full, spending the nights in warm, friendly surroundings. At the same time, activities such as tobogganing, snowshoe trekking and fireside evenings provide unforgettable moments. Winter multi-activity courses give you the chance to try out different sporting disciplines while enjoying the fresh mountain air.

Courses and Therapy

Some camps offer therapeutic programs, such as equitherapy, which develops self-confidence and communication skills through contact with horses. Other programs integrate theater as a tool for self-expression and personal development, offering a space to channel emotions and gain confidence on stage. These courses are often supervised by health professionals, such as psychologists or therapists, to offer support tailored to the needs of children looking for a program that combines both fun and therapy. By combining art, sport and well-being, these specific weeks encourage personal development in a caring and enriching environment.

Theater and musical comedy

Theater is a very popular activity during the vacations, particularly through Apolline's theater and musical comedy workshops. These programs immerse participants in the world of show business, combining singing, dancing and stage performance. They help build self-confidence and provide an enriching collective adventure. With weekend performances, participants can showcase their talents and share their passion for the stage.

Adventure and nature

For those who love adventure, nature courses are an excellent option. From cabin-building to hiking and orienteering, these activities are a fun way to discover the environment. Some camps also offer introductory programs in wilderness survival, providing a unique and fun way to learn. Weeks spent in the great outdoors allow you to disconnect from everyday life and enjoy the benefits of the great outdoors.

Whether it's discovering a new passion, having fun with friends or taking on a sporting challenge, there are a multitude of ways to spend your vacation in an enriching and dynamic way. With so many options to choose from, everyone can find the activity that suits them best and enjoy unforgettable weeks of fun and discovery.

Choosing the right summer camp may seem complex, but by taking into account certain essential criteria, it's possible to find the ideal option. Here are three points to consider to make the right choice.

1. The type of program on offer

The first criterion to evaluate is the nature of the activities offered. Some camps focus on sports, such as climbing, mountain hiking or water activities, while others emphasize the arts, with creative workshops, theater and end-of-stay shows. There are also school camps offering support for kids during the vacations.

Multi-activity weeks give you the chance to try out several disciplines and enjoy a varied program. Make sure you choose a camp that matches your child's interests and allows him or her to develop to the full.

2. The setting and accommodation

The camp location plays a crucial role in the overall experience. Some camps take place in the heart of nature, in a comfortable chalet offering a mountain setting ideal for outdoor activities. Others are located in town, close to a school or cultural center offering easy access to workshops and artistic spaces.

Residential camps often offer on-site accommodation, with meals provided morning, noon and night. Those that don't offer accommodation generally provide catering for participants. It's important to check these details before registering.

3. Dates and accessibility

Check the camp dates and make sure they match availability. Some camps take place during specific periods like the summer, while others offer several sessions throughout the year. Accessibility is also an essential factor: some camps are located in isolated areas, requiring specific logistical organization.

If you're looking for a camp in the Pully area, for example, it's a good idea to see if there are any local options, or if transportation is organized. The possibility of choosing a themed workshop or specific activity can also influence the final choice.

By taking these criteria into account, you'll be able to choose a summer camp that perfectly matches your expectations and needs, guaranteeing enriching and memorable weeks.
